Guided by our fragrance artists, you’ll explore a carefully curated collection of fragrance oils and house blends of botanical, resin, musk, woodsy, floral, and gourmand notes. You’ll learning about scent layering, how scents unfold on the skin and how your own personal experince shapes what we’re drawn to.

Each session results in a custom-blended fragrance formulated just for you that is balanced, nuanced, and wearable for every day. Customize your label and box with our templates and signature wax seals. The best part is, we’ll keep your formula on file for easy re-ordering from wherever you are.

Inspired by traditional apothecaries and pharmacies as well as modern niche perfumery, the Perfume Bar is equal parts laboratory and sanctuary, simplified for a seamless user experience.

INGREDIENTS

SOY-FREE / CRUELTY-FREE / VEGAN

All of our products are free of phthalates, parabens, mutagens, hormone disruptors, Prop 65 restricted ingredients, or any essential oils that can be harmful to you or your pets. Our candles are made using soy-free, organic coconut/apricot wax and wooden wicks for a clean, slow & even burn.
SCENT THROW / BURN TIME

14oz candles :

  • Suitable for larger rooms, high ceilings, open concept spaces, large entryways and hallways
  • Burn time : 60-80+ hours with proper use and care (see below)

7oz/9oz candles :

  • Perfect for more intimate spaces, i.e. bedrooms, bathrooms, offices
  • For larger spaces, layer two or more with complementary fragrance notes to create a dynamic scent story
  • Burn time : 30-40+ hours with proper use & care (see below)
CANDLE CARE / SAFETY
  • FIRST BURN : allow enough burn time for a full and even melt pool to form. It doesn’t need to go allll the way to the edge, but closer than Creed, k? (*^ ‿ ⁢*)
  • Always burn on a fire-resistant surface away from any drafts, children & pets.
  • TRIM DAT WICK! Wooden wicks are not self-trimming, like cotton wicks — before re-lighting your candle, use a wick trimmer, nail clipper, or your fingers to remove previously charred material.
  • Keep away from extreme heat and moisture.
  • Optimal burn sessions are 2-4 hours - no more than 6 hours.
  • Do not burn to the bitter end - you’re ready for a refill once you hit the last 1/4 inch of wax remaining in the jar!
